We read everything that arrives. Rate corrections get the fastest response — reader reports are the most effective quality control we have, and we would much rather hear about a wrong figure than leave it published.

How to reach us

Our contact address is being set up and will be published here shortly. Everything below explains what we can help with in the meantime — it is worth reading before you write, because a well-formed rate correction is the message we act on fastest.

Reporting an incorrect rate

This is the message we act on fastest, and a well-formed report saves everyone a round trip. Please include:

  1. The page URL — for example the specific city page, not just the site name.
  2. The figure you saw on our page, and the timestamp shown next to it.
  3. The figure you believe is correct, and where you saw it — a local Sarafa board, a jeweller's quote, or another published source.
  4. The karat and unit you are comparing, since 22K per tola and 24K per 10 grams are very different numbers.

A screenshot helps. If the discrepancy is genuine we correct it and, where appropriate, recalibrate the local premium for that city so the same error does not recur.

Requesting a new city

We publish rates for more than forty Pakistani cities plus major markets across the Gulf, the UK, North America and Australia. If your city is missing, tell us its name and, if you can, roughly how local rates compare to Karachi. Most cities on the site were added because a reader asked for them.

Data and licensing enquiries

Questions about where our figures come from, how often they refresh, or how a particular karat or unit is derived are welcome. Tell us which page and which figure you are asking about and we will explain the calculation behind it.

If you want to quote our rates in an article or report, that is fine with clear credit and a link back to the page the figure came from. Bulk copying, scraping and redistributing our data as a feed are not permitted — see our terms of use.

Advertising and partnerships

Genuine commercial enquiries are welcome. Please outline what you have in mind and the audience you are trying to reach. Two things we should say upfront: advertising never affects the rates we publish or the order in which cities appear, and we do not accept sponsored articles, guest posts or reciprocal link arrangements.

Press and research

Journalists and researchers are welcome to cite our figures with attribution. If you need historical context, a methodology note or a comment on how local pricing works, get in touch and tell us your deadline.

What we can't help with

  • Buying or selling gold. We are a publisher, not a dealer. We hold no stock and take no orders.
  • Valuing a specific item. Purity, weight and workmanship cannot be assessed remotely. Our calculator gives an indicative metal value; a licensed jeweller can give you a real one.
  • Investment advice. We cannot tell you whether to buy or sell. That is a licensed activity — please speak to a qualified financial adviser. See our disclaimer.
  • Religious rulings. Our Zakat calculator applies live prices to the standard nisab thresholds, but it is a tool, not a fatwa. Please consult a qualified scholar for rulings specific to your situation.
  • Disputes with a jeweller. We have no commercial relationship with any retailer and cannot mediate.

Privacy of your message

We keep correspondence only as long as it is useful, we do not add you to any mailing list, and we never pass your details to third parties. Ask us to delete an exchange and we will. Full detail is in our privacy policy.

Contact Us — Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly will I get a reply?+
Rate corrections are usually investigated the same working day. General enquiries typically receive a response within two working days.
What should I include when reporting a wrong rate?+
Three things make a correction actionable: the page URL, the figure you saw on our site, and the figure you believe is correct along with where you saw it. A screenshot and a timestamp help considerably.
Can you value my jewellery?+
No. We cannot assess purity, weight or workmanship remotely, and any figure we gave would be guesswork. Use our gold price calculator for an indicative metal value, then visit a licensed jeweller for a proper assessment.
Can you tell me whether to buy or sell right now?+
No. We publish information, not investment advice, and we are not licensed to advise. For guidance specific to your circumstances, speak to a qualified financial adviser.
Do you accept guest posts or link exchanges?+
We do not publish guest posts, sponsored articles or reciprocal links. Genuine partnership and advertising enquiries are welcome through the contact address below.
